Angel Locsin reveals that she adores Maymay ever since they first met! Read more here.

Following a recent article about how Maymay Entrata stans Angel Locsin as a woman who inspires her through her teleserye characters, Angel Locsin was quick to respond and took to Twitter how grateful she is for the young actress’ kind words.

“Salamat @maymayentrata07 Unang kita palang natin sa loob ng bahay ni kuya tuwang tuwa na ako sayo,” The General’s Daughter star tweeted along with a screen grab of Maymay’s ambush interview.

“Si Angel Locsin kasi pwede siya maging superhero, maging bida, kontrabida, maging siga. Lalo na ngayon sa General’s Daughter talaga pong siga siya dun. Astig siya. Nakaka-inspire lang na kahit anong role po kinakaya niya. So ayun po, na-inspire ako,” Maymay told ABS-CBN Entertainment when asked who inspires her the most in the industry.

It can be recalled that it was when Maymay was still in the Pinoy Big Brother House when she first met Ms. Angel Locsin. Maymay hilariously swooned over upon seeing the actress who went inside the popular house with Sam Milby and Zanjoe Marudo to promote their movie, The Third Party.

Angel Locsin is one of the the most prominent personalities in Philippine Showbiz. She is also one of the most followed and most influential celebrities who have reached IDOL status in her own right and there can be no denying why younger generations of artists and new comers are looking up to her and consider her as an inspiration.

Thus, in celebration of the International Women’s Month, it is unarguable that Angel Locsin would always be included in the round up of women who represent beauty, strength and influence. Aside from being an outstanding actress, she is also an active volunteer and advocate of women’s rights.

We stan strong women who support each other! Would you love to see them in one project? Movie, perhaps? Put your comments below!
