WATCH: Angel Locsin reveals that one of her childhood dreams was to become a police!

On Wednesday, The General’s Daughter star, Angel Locsin guested on Magandang Buhay, a Philippine morning television talk show on ABS-CBN hosted by Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Jolina Magdangal-Esqueta where we got the chance to have a peek at Angel Locsin’s personal life, happy and normal childhood and her journey in the showbiz industry.

The multi-awarded versatile actress, who also has a monicker, the Action-Drama Queen, revealed on the show that she dreamed of becoming a policewoman as a child. “Yung thought lang na you’re serving your country or protecting your loved ones sa mga bad guys, siguro ano yun para sa bata ‘IDOL’, parang ganun yung mentality.” Angel shared.

“Hanggang sa nagshift ka rin. Nakakita ka rin of course sa mga profession ng sa medicine naman like mga doctors, nakakapagsave naman sila ng lives. ‘Ay hero din!’ Parang ganun yung dating. Parang idol din.”

We all know how charitable and genuinely kind Angel is, no wonder why many consider her as a real-life superhero since she donned the trademark red and gold costume of the Mars Ravelo’s comic book heroine, Darna in 2005, and it traces back to how she was as a child who wanted to become someone who saves lives.

“Umabot din ata ako sa madre. Weird sobrang weird. From military na gustong gustong maging sundalo tapos ‘gusto ko pong maging madre’ tapos ‘ay gusto ko pong maging teacher,’ artista pala ang bagsak ko,” she also added.

Angel related how interesting and enjoyable it is to have a peek at the lives of our selfless countrymen and she feels honored to have been able to portray these heroic acts as an actor.
