Angel Locsin is back! A Metro.Style exclusive.

After being on hiatus for almost 5 years, Angel Locsin is back to her primetime throne as 2nd Lt. Rhian Bonifacio in The General’s Daughter. To commemorate her grand comeback, Metro.Style has her on the cover of a digitally released special feature.

Angel Locsin is on the cover of Metro.Style looking exquisitely beautiful in green turtleneck by Zara Knit, printed flared pants by Zara Woman, white "Jose Suit" double-breasted blazer by Rajo Laurel, and jewelry by Nami, styled by Cath Sobrevega and Riri Verano. Ms. Lala Flores did her seamless and beautifully done makeup and hair by Nante Alingasa.

Angel Locsin talks about her brief hiatus and what she’s been up to. Because of a disc bulge that hindered her in doing a project that she’s been long preparing for, she has to undergo two major operations in her neck and lumbar area and underwent therapy that lasted for almost two and a half years. Away from the limelight while recuperating, Angel made use of her time wisely and find ways to hone her craft at home by reading books and streaming movies and shows, figuring new acting styles along the way. Angel Locsin also opens up about that moment in her life that she almost called it quits in showbusiness. She felt that she wasn’t giving her full potential to ABS-CBN and the company’s return of investment on her wasn’t what it should have been. The higher-ups of the network thought otherwise and invited her to pitching sessions where new show concepts were presented to her one of which is The General’s Daughter that immediately materialized.

After everything that she went through, Angel Locsin is back in her new primetime televeision show The General’s Daughter! Don’t dare miss an episode weeknights after FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano!
