Angel Locsin calls herself an “ALIGA-tor” at family gatherings! Read on to find out why.

The Philippines has one of the longest holiday seasons in the world, which starts in the month of September and ends during the 1st week of January, shortly after the Feast of the Three Kings.

And when it comes to welcoming the New Year, it’s not limited to traditional celebrations just like how the actress, Angel Locsin spent New Year with her family. After welcoming 2019 with a grand buffet of staple Media Noche menu at home made even more delectable by some of the most popular Pinoy streetfoods like fishballs, kwek-kwek, sorbetes and ice scramble, Angel and fambam went outdoors and continued the celebration at a beach in San Antonio, Zambales.

Angel Locsin is known to be a nature-lover and a Daddy’s girl. Following a recent article about Angel’s holiday plans, she mentioned that her Daddy Angel wished to go on a vacation trip and it is no surprise why she chose Zambales to grant her dad’s wish as it is a home to countless tranquil coves and beaches perfect for her Daddy’s relaxation and little adventure.

Angel Locsin and the whole family chill at Talisayen Cove in Zambales and their beach life won’t be complete without a mouth-watering boodle fight. Angel, the family’s “Punong-abala” as she proclaimed on her recent Instagram post prepared the feast lavishly filled with traditional Pinoy cooked rice, seafoods, liempo, crispy pata, sinigang, talong, ampalaya, okra, bagoong, salted eggs with kamatis and mangoes. In the caption of her photos while preparing the boodle fight table, she wrote: “Thinking about our fambam’s impromptu boodle fight by the beach yesterday. What role do you usually play at family gatherings? Are you the official “ALIGA-tor” (official Aligaga) like me? or are you more of like “The Ghost” (hindi mo nakikita pero nandyan lang sa tabi-tabi. Magugulat ka na lang ‘pag kainan na) #SoWrongYetSoRight  #IbigayAngHilingNgMgaGutomNaBibig #FamilyIsLoveEspPagGutom  #HolidayHangoverIsSoReal.”

They sure had fun!

How did you celebrate New Year? Are you also an “ALIGA-tor” like Angel or “The Ghost?” Tell us in the comments!
