Angel Locsin, aminadong nagduda sa kanyang kakayahan!

After 5 long years, Angel Locsin is back in her fighting form as the titular character in The General’s Daughter set to premiere nationwide on primetime block and worldwide via The Filipino Channel this January 21!

Last week, Angel Locsin had a very successful media day promoting the upcoming teleserye and she started it on It’s Showtime as guest “hurado” in Miss Q & A, followed by a “chickahan” live interview on MOR Celebrity chat and DZMM Teleradyo and capping the day off with the broadcast media and bloggers at The General’s Daughter solo press conference.

During the press conference for the tv series, Angel revealed that she almost resigned from ABS-CBN, quit showbiz.

In a sit-down interview with select reporters and bloggers at the conference, Angel revealed that she got to a point of submitting a resignation letter and very grateful to the people who continue to believe in her, like the Dreamscape which is heading the project, her bosses in ABS-CBN, her team, her fans and social media followers. I’m a big disappointment.

Feeling ko utang ko ito sa inyo,” she also added.

When asked about a recent Instagram post during the press-con where she reflects on her recent years that changed her outlook in life, Angel openly shared how the 5 years gap in her teleserye career have been really challenging.

"'Pag down ka kasi, down ka talaga. Try to be strong pero hindi ka okay eh," she said.

True enough, the bigger the setback, the greater the comeback! Long wait is over, the one and the only ACTION DRAMA QUEEN is back on primetime!
